As a Canadian Centre of Excellence in Electronic Warfare Operation Support and over 30 years of EW Domain Knowledge LCE offers academic courses for electronic warfare operational training and software tool sets. Leveraging a partnership with Leonardo Academy at Lincoln, Leonardo Canada - Electronics offers a range of customizable EW content courses to fulfill EW knowledge gaps from basic EW fundamentals all the way advance intelligence gathering analysis, techniques, and dissemination. With subject matter expert instructors, each course offers a unique, tailored approach to benefit customers and end-users in securing maximum benefit from an investment in modern EW systems.

Course Overview

A 5-day to 10-day course that provides a comprehensive introduction to Newton. No prior knowledge of Newton is assumed. The purpose of this course is to provide an introduction to the software, covering themes such as what Newton is, what it is used for, and how to use the software.

EW Fundamentals

Course Overview

Electronic Warfare is a foundation of modern combat, and a key-player in all areas of the spectrum across all operational scenarios in all phases of warfare. The modular 3-day to 15-day ‘Introduction to Electronic Warfare’ courses concentrate on radar and electro-optic warfare. The aim of these courses are to impart the foundation knowledge that will provide students with a firm understanding of underpinning theory within Electronic Warfare.

EW Electronic Countermeasures

Course Overview

The electronic Countermeasures course covers the technical and combat use of surface and airborne air defence radar and counter radar electronic countermeasures. This 5-day to 15-day course is designed to prepare someone on how to develop ECM tactics, techniques, and Procedures (TTPs). The course includes surface air defence and airborne combat TTPs for radar and radar jammer users / ‘programmers’ explaining all the variables and how they fit with different radar and jammer engagement combinations for different ECM types.

Intro To C-UAS

Course Overview

A 5 day course introducing the fundamentals of CUAS through our advanced CUAS planning and Assessment tool Skytender. This course is designed for individuals with varying levels of expertise, making it accessible to those unfamiliar CUAS assessment & modelling and simulation. The program aims to deliver a thorough understanding of CUAS principles, exploring the intricacies of the tool, its applications, and practical utilization. Participants will gain insights into assessing the effectiveness of deployed CUAS systems, offering a comprehensive introduction to the capabilities of this tool in the realm of counter-drone operations.
